FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING
Install the steering stem nut onto the stem to prevent the
threads from being damaged when removing the lower bear-
ing i n ner race from the stem.
Remove the lower bearing i n ner rece with a chisel or equiva-
lent tool, being careful not to damage the stem.

lnslall lhe washer onto the steering slem.
Apply grease to new dust seal lips and i n stall i t over the steer-
ing stem.
Install a new lower bearing i n ner race using a special tool
and a hydraulic press.
Install the steering lock and screws.
Tighten the screws securely.
Install the headlight case stay and nut.
Tighten the nut securely.
