FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING
Apply grease to the new l o wer bearing steel balls (18).
Install the steel balls onto the steering stem.
Install the steering stem i n to the head pipe.
Apply grease to the new upper bearing steel balls (18).
Install the upper bearing steel balls and upper bearing i n ner
race.

Steering stem socket 07916 - 3710101
STEERING STEM SOCKET
TOP THREAD
TORQUE: 1 N-m (0.1 kgf-m, 0.7 lbf·fl)
Install the steering top thread and thghten i t to the specified
torque.
Move the steering stem right and left, l o ck-to-lock, five times
lo seat the bearings.
Make sure that the steering stem moves smoothly, without
play or binding.
