Working punches operate as
follows:
4) The punch is in the home
position. The punch home
position sensor [A] is on. When
the next sheet of paper is set, the
punch cam starts a backward
turn.
5) When the punch cam has made a
90-degree turn, a hole is
punched.
6) When the punch cam has made a
180-degree turn, the punch
comes back to the home position.
Note that the punch cam [B] is not
in the previous position but in the
same position as the start of
phase 1.

• Phase 1 and phase 2 are alternately executed.
