1.4 FAX FUNCTION UPGRADE UNIT

CAUTION
Before installing this option, do the following:
1. Print out all data in the printer buffer.
2. Turn off the main switch and disconnect the power cord and the
network cable.

1. Turn on the DIP switch [A].
NOTE: The DIP switch works as the power switch.
2. Attach the spacer [B].
3. Install the fax function upgrade unit [C].
4. Turn the main switch on.
5. Enter the service mode. Set bit 7 of system switch 1E to "1."
