IPMI Power Management

Intelligent Platform Management Interface or IPMI refers to the monitoring
and control functions that are built into the platform hardware and primarily is
used for monitoring a server's hardware such as temperature, voltage, and
errors.
On the "IPMI Power Mgmt." form under "Applications", you can enable and
perform power management of devices that have IPMI controllers.
As shown in the following figure, if no IPMI devices have been added
previously, only the "Add" button appears.
Figure 7-17:Expert > Applications > IPMI Power Mgmt.
When an "Add" button or "Edit" button is pressed, a form appears for adding
or editing a device.
