When you have finished editing the running configuration, execute the
global configuration mode.

6.4.7 Notes on configuration editing

(1) Limits on the number of configuration commands
If the number of entries you have edited exceeds the switch capacity, the message

check whether any unnecessary entries exist.
(2) Copying and pasting configuration entries
When you copy and paste configuration entries, use no more than 1000 characters at one
time, including spaces and line breaks.
If the configuration entries exceed 1000 characters, copy and paste them in multiple
