Paper Size Mismatch

Phaser 3010/3040/WorkCentre 3045 Service
The size of paper in the Main Paper Tray, or Bypass Tray, does not match the
specified print size.
Applicable Error
• 024-958: Paper Size Match
Initial Actions
• Check that the correct paper is in the paper tray. Change the paper if
necessary.
• Cycle printer power.
• If the problem persists, use the following procedure.

1 Check connectors P/J23 and P/J230
between the MCU Board and the
Registration Sensor.
Are the connections secure?
2 Does the error persist?
3 Disconnect P/J23 and P/J230. Check
harness continuity.
Is the harness damaged?
4 Disconnect the MCU Board P/J23.
Is the voltage across ground and
J23-1 +3.3 VDC?
