Quick Steps for Configuring Static Link
Aggregation
Follow the steps below for a quick tutorial on configuring a static aggregate link between two switches.
Additional information on how to configure each command is given in the subsections that follow.

Create the static aggregate link on the local switch with the

Assign all the necessary ports sequentially (beginning with port number 1, 9, 17, or 25 on the
OmniSwitch 6624 and 6600-U24 or beginning with port number 1, 9, 17, 25, 33, 41, 49, or 51 on the
OmniSwitch 6648) to the static link aggregation group on the local switch with the
command. For example:
-> static agg 1/1 agg num 1
-> static agg 1/2 agg num 1
-> static agg 1/3 agg num 1
-> static agg 1/4 agg num 1

Create a VLAN for this static link aggregate group with the vlan command. For example:
-> vlan 10 port default 1
