Peer networking manages communications between Polycom devices. For the
SoundStation IP 7000 conference phone, it manages daisy-chaining and video
integation with the Polycom HDX video systems.
This configuration attribute is defined as follows:

Default Interpretation
Null The role of the SoundStation IP 7000 when
communicating with other Polycom devices.
If the attribute is not defined or is null, the default
value is "auto" meaning that the configuration of
the peer role is automatic.
The other value definitions are:
• "standAlone" - IP 7000 is always only
standalone.
• "masterOnly" - IP 7000 is always the master.
• "masterPreferred" - The configuration is
automatic, but if the call capability of the
daisy-chained IP 7000 is the same as this
one, this one is the master.
• "slaveOnly" - IP 7000 is always the slave.
• "slavePreferred" - The configuration is
automatic, but if the call capability of the
daisy-chained IP 7000 is the same as this
one, this one is the slave.
Null The HDX Extension Number to be displayed on
the IP 7000 when it is connected to an HDX
system.
Null The attenuation applied to tones played by the
IP 7000 for POTS calls when it is connected to
an HDX system when the HDX is the active
speaker.
If set to Null, the default is -15.
Null A flag to determine whether or not a dialtone is
played when the IP 7000 makes an outgoing
POTS call when it is connected to an HDX.
If set to 1, a dial tone is played.
If set to 0 or Null, a dial tone is not played.
