for SIP 3.2.3
Note
This addendum addresses changes to the Administrator's Guide for the
SoundPoint IP / SoundStation IP / VVX Family specific to the release of the
Polycom® SoundStation IP® 5000 conference phone, which runs SIP 3.2.3 or
later.
The SoundPoint IP 5000 conference phone is a next-generation phone with a
modern industrial design and the latest advancements in Polycom voice
technology. The SoundStation IP 5000 is similar to the SoundStation IP 6000
except for:
• Support for four soft keys
• Smaller footprint
• Support for six audio codecs
This addendum includes the following topics:

• Single Registration
• Audio Codecs
Configuration file changes are described in
