As well as the sip.ld file in the archive, there is a separate file for the
SoundPoint IP 5000 conference phone called 3111-30900-001.sip.ld .
The SoundStation IP 5000 can be configured to interface with a corporate
directory that supports the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
version 3. A license key is required and can purchased through a Certified
Polycom Reseller.
The SoundStation IP 5000 phone supports a single registration.
When the phone is unable to register with the call control server, the icon
is shown (outline). Once the phone is registered, the icon
shown (solid).

The network bandwidth necessary to send the encoded voice is typically 5-10%
higher than the encoded bit rate due to packetization overhead. For example, a
G.722.1C call at 48kbps consumes 5xkbps of network bandwidth (one-way audio).
Two-way audio would take over 100kbps.
