Troubleshooting the Portal Desktop
White noise on acceptance of transaction (Option 11c systems).
If you experience bursts of white noise on the agents headsets on acceptance of a
transaction on Option 11c systems, you may be using old line cards in the slots
where Phantom TNs for DTH are allocated.
To fix this problem, you must use a Digital Line Card NT8D02GA Rel 7
(introduced in 1999) or later. Alternatively, you can leave the slot unpopulated
with CLS FLXA applied to any configured TNs to ensure that they are not
audited and disabled by the Meridian Audit routines or use the upper TNs (Units
16-31) of the XDLC to host the phantom TNs.
