Configuring the Agent Roaming feature

Introduction
You use the Agent Roaming feature when the agent is moving from one PC to
another. For the Agent Roaming feature to work, you must ensure that only one
line is being monitored. Follow the procedure in this section to change the line
that the computer is monitoring.
You can allow the agent to monitor more than one line through the TAPI server.
For more information, refer to your TAPI documentation.
You can also use the Agent Roaming feature to change the name of the
Symposium Web Center Portal Agent Interface server.
To run the Agent Roaming configuration utility
1
Log on to the agent's PC as the Local Administrator.
From the Windows Start menu, choose Programs ➝ Nortel Networks ➝
2
Symposium Web Center Portal ➝ Portal Desktop ➝ Agent Roaming
Configuration.
Result: The Agent Roaming Configurator window appears.
3
Enter the line you want to configure for the computer.
4
Click OK.
