Windows Event Viewer warnings of not enough temporary database
log space
This problem can cause your SWCP_SQLSRV service to fail to start up or stop
responding, or your Agent Interface server to fail to start up. When this happens,
the following SWCP_SQLSRV warning appears in the windows event viewer,
under the application logs: Can't allocate space for object
'syslogs' in database 'master' because 'logsegment'
segment is full/has no free extents. If you ran out of
space in syslogs, dump the transaction log.
This problem occurs when the temporary log space used within Sybase is full.
The log space is used during database system operations to store temporary
information. When the temporary space is full, all processing to and from the
database is suspended until space becomes available. No data is lost in the
interim; however, none of the Symposium Web Center Portal activities are able
to access the database.
You must purge the transaction logs from the database.
