Configuring Symposium Web Center Portal for e-mail and telephony integration
The DTH stops routing calls to a particular skillset when all the agents log
!
out of that skillset (and continues to route calls to other skillsets that are In-
Service).
Scheduled agent to skillset assignments are used to start or stop routing
!
calls at specified times.
The DTH Scheduler functionality is implemented by the DTH using a Real Time
Data (RTD) interface to retrieve skillset status information from Symposium
Call Center Server. The RTD interface in the DTH requires that you create a
desktop user with no-access rights in Symposium Call Center Server and that the
User ID and Password information are confirmed in Symposium Web Center
Portal 4.0 using the DTH and Transaction Monitor Configurator. (For more
information, refer to the Nortel Networks Symposium Call Center Server
Administrator's Guide.) The DTH is informed by Symposium Call Center
Server whenever a skillset state change occurs and this information is used to
only load contacts from skillsets that are In-Service.
To configure the DTH Scheduler
Before you begin, you must follow the procedure in the Nortel Networks
Symposium Call Center Server Administrator's Guide to add a desktop user
account to Symposium Call Center Server. When you are prompted, change the
default password to one that complies with your security settings. Ensure that
you enter a User ID and the Access Class "none = no access rights."
