Verifying the port number setting
If a new database server is installed (when there are existing servers), a new port
number may be assigned. If this is the case, you must manually update the
Database.ini file.
To check the port number setting
On the Windows Start menu, on the database server, click Start ➝

Programs ➝ Sybase ➝ DSEdit.
Result: The dsedit window appears.
2 Double-click Server Address.
3 Look at the entries for SWCP_SQLSRV.
