Troubleshooting installation problems

Introduction
This section provides solutions to issues that may arise during the software
installation.
Installation hangs during the installation of the Portal server
If the installation of the Portal server appears to hang and the application log has
a message indicating "not enough temporary database log space," the Master.dat
master transaction log may be full. You must purge the data from the transaction
log.
To purge data from the transaction log during the Portal server
component installation

Navigate to ..\Sybase\sqladv-12_5.

Double-click the sqladv icon.
Result: A window like the one below appears:
