Customizing the Customer Interface
When you customize the customer interface, you must keep in mind that the
contact center does not process customers' requests for assistance when it is
closed. On the web page, state the hours of operation, and the time zone in
which the contact center is located. Any transactions received outside the hours
of operation are not processed until the DTH starts the next day.
Note: Symposium Web Center Portal uses a timestamp based on the time zone
in which the Portal server is located. When you create your customer web pages,
you can either translate the customer's local time to the Portal server time or you
can advise the web page user of the time zone in which the callback is
scheduled.
