Customer Interface Sample Pages and Web Communications
Manager—Intranet access support with JRun
A similar issue to that outlined above exists with JRun deployments of the
Customer Interface and Web Communications Manager when Internet access is
not available.
After deploying the Symposium Web Center Portal Sample Customer Interface
web application, in the swcp-ci /WEB-INF folder a new .xml file is created
(jrun-web.xml). This .xml file references a .dtd file from the macromedia web
site (jrun-web.dtd). This file can be found locally in
C:\JRun4\docs\descriptordocs\dtds.
1 Copy the .dtd file to http://myserver/resources/ and change all references to
it in the .xml file to point to this location.
2 For the Web Communications Manager deployments, deploy the
WEBCOLLAB web application. In the WEBCOLLAB /WEB-INF folder a
jrun-web.xml file is also created which points to jrun-web.dtd file on the
Macromedia web site. This file can be found locally in
C:\JRun4\docs\descriptordocs\dtds. Copy the .dtd file to http://myserver/
resources/ and change all references to it in the .xml file to point to this
location.
