Logging configuration
The Symposium Web Center Portal components use the LOG4J logging API
provided by Apache. You must configure LOG4J to log the activity or errors of
the Symposium Web Center Portal components. Nortel Networks recommends
that you configure LOG4J through the log4j.properties file located in the
installation directory of the Customer Interface (for example, Nortel
Networks\Symposium Web Center Portal\Sample Customer Interface\).
You must place the log4j.properties file in a directory in your classpath and set
the following Java system property at runtime to use this file in your application:
-Dlog4j.configuration=log4j.properties
You configure the LOG4J.propterties file to change the maximum log file size,

1
Navigate to the LOG4J.properties file.
