6. Remove and retain the following from the frame for
reinstallation in Step
11, page
• Two M20 x 500 leg pin bolts (A)
• Four washers (B)
• Two M20 nuts (C)
7. Adjust the lifting device's lift height until pin (A) is loose.
Use slide hammer (B) (MD #209816) to extract the pin from
the front of the frame.
NOTE:
Use of a special tool is necessary due to the limited amount
of space in front of the fuel tank.
NOTE:
Removing the pins will be difficult if the right leg is bearing
any of the wheel's weight.
8. Remove the second pin.
