The Instrument Setup dialog box's Y Focus tab

Use the Y Focus tab to create a Y-focus calibration table, which specifies
Y-focus lens offsets at specified masses. The resulting table is saved in a
Y-focus (*.ypr) file, specified in the Y Focus Setup Parameter File box.
When opened, the Y Focus tab contains a default table of Y Focus Values. You
can add entries to, delete entries from, and edit existing entries in, this table.
The corrected Y Focus values shown in the table are calculated by adding the
Y-focus correction for each table entry to the current Y Focus setting on the
Tune window's Lenses 2 tab. This forms the Y-focus calibration table, which is
saved into the Y-focus file when the Instrument Setup dialog box is closed.
The masses specified in this table are set using the magnet only. As
Note:
mass can normally be set using the magnet and the accelerating voltage, the
masses are taken to be at full accelerating voltage, that is, 8000 V.
