Blow-dry the components using inert, oil-free gas.
Alternative:
air dry. Wipe off any water spots with a lint-free cloth.

Assembling the re-entrant coupling mechanism

To assemble the re-entrant coupling mechanism
1.
Fit the peg to the U-bracket.
2.
Fit and tighten the nut that secures the peg to the U-bracket.
3.
Fit and tighten the 2 screws that secure the tee-block to the U-bracket.
4.
Slide the peg into the mounting bracket.

Assembling the probe contact assembly

To assemble the probe contact assembly
1.
Fit a 7.5-mm ceramic spacer to each of two M1.6 × 10-mm screws.
2.
Fit a 2-mm ceramic spacer over each 7.5-mm ceramic spacer.
3.
Fit a contact over the two 7.5-mm ceramic spacers.
4.
Fit a 6-mm ceramic spacer over each 7.5-mm ceramic spacer.
5.
Fit and tighten the 2 screws, complete with ceramic spacers and contact,
to the contact mounting plate so that the contact is mounted
horizontally, with the contact facing the center of the contact plate, as
shown in the

Repeat

Fit a 3.5-mm ceramic spacer to each of two M1.6 × 6-mm screws.
8.
Fit a 2-mm ceramic spacer over each 3.5-mm ceramic spacer.
9.
Fit a contact over the two 3.5-mm ceramic spacers.
10. Fit a 6-mm ceramic spacer over each 7.5-mm ceramic spacer.
11. Fit and tighten the 2 screws, complete with ceramic spacers and contact,
to the contact mounting plate so that the contact is mounted vertically,
with the contact facing the center of the contact plate, as shown in
"Probe contact assembly components" on page
7-66
Routine maintenance
Place the components on lint-free towels, and allow them to
figure "Probe contact assembly components" on page
