To set up the Tune window peak display toolbar
Ensure that the items described in the following table are present in the Tune
window peak display toolbar. If necessary, add them to the toolbar.

To open the source isolation valve
On the MassLynx Tune window's Vacuum tab, select Source.
To switch on the instrument's ion gauges
On the MassLynx Tune window's Vacuum tab, select Source and Analyser1.
Switching on both the ion gauges also activates the Tune window

In the MassLynx Tune window, click Vacuum > Monitor.

Tuning the instrument
Function
When enabled, the display scales to the value of
the intensity of the highest peak, that is, the
peak is normalized. When disabled, the scale
remains at the last set value. You can adjust the
scale using the slider control to the right-hand
side of the peak display.
Dynamically displays the peak resolution (5%
peak height definition).
