2 Replacing the gasket ring for the
gearshift shaft
2.1 Replacing the gasket ring for the gear‐
shift shaft
Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Thrust piece -T10174-
– Removing multi-function switch -F125-
– Remove gasket ring with screwdriver, do not damage the
gearshift shaft.
– Smear the outer surface and sealing lips of the gasket ring with
ATF.
• Fitting location: The open side of the gasket ring faces towards
the gearbox.
– Drive in the new seal ring with pressure plate -T10174- up to
the stop, do not twist the seal ring.
– Installing and setting multi-function switch -F125-
