CONSTANT PRESSURE VALVE
Before starting word, consult:
--chapter 2, "BACKGROUND INFORMATION".
Tool for testing constant pressure valve.
1 Testing pump
Tool 66626 900, consists of:
-- Connecting pieces ;
-- Flexible high pressure lines (2x)
-- Manometers and non--return valve
Please contact the SWD Service Department
for ordering this tool.
2. 1. Check, if tool B is still under pressure at 120 bar, when the line is plugged off.
(If necessary, inspect the non--return valve of this tool).
2. 2. Remove the high pressure fuel line.
2. 3. Check if the fuel control rod is in zero position.
2. 4. Connect tools A and B to the high pressure fuel pump, with the help of tool A,
increase pressure to 120 bar.
2. 5. No go criteria is:
If the pressure drops from 120 bar to 80 bar within 5 seconds. In this case
renew the constant pressure valve.
