3B TIGHTENING TORQUES
To obtain the right pre--tension on the tie rods, they must be connected the following
way:
-- Apply sealing lute between the contact surfaces of cylinder block and crankcase.
-- Place cylinder block on top of the crankcase.
-- Tighten the cylinder block the same day completely on the crankcase, with regard
to hardening of the lute.
-- Fit the small bolts (fig. B2) and tighten them directly with a torque of 275 Nm.
-- Place the tie rods and fit nut "Y" definitively (fig. B3).
