8. 3. Alarm cards (1.3):
Signal indicators, for alarm only, are equipped with illuminated push buttons with
orange lenses.
The signal indicators, which also have a shut--down function, and the illuminated
push buttons are provided with red lenses.
By means of the push button element of the illuminated push button, each alarm
and protection function can be tested separately.
8. 4. Signal light / klaxon (1.5 / 1.4):
When a fault takes place, the visual warning is given by the flashing of the
relevant signal light. The audible warning is given by a separate klaxon (1.4),
which can be connected to the system.
In order to co--signal the engine alarm and protection unit, an additional board can be
supplied suitable to be built in to a desk. See general diagram section 10D.
The co--signaling board is provided with a speed indicator that is connected with the
0--6 V signal of card (E3).
Each illuminated push button is connected to the alarm and protection unit and follows
the signal of the alarm and protection unit.
The illuminated push button "SIGNAL TEST / ALARM IN" signals the working of the
alarm and protection unit. All illuminated push buttons can be checked by means of
operating the button.
The illumination of push button "SIGNAL TEST / ALARM IN" and the speed indicator
can be regulated by means of a dimmer (2.4).
When there is an alarm the corresponding signal indicator, the buzzer and the
illuminated push button indicator ("RESET BUZZER") are switched on. The buzzer
and the signal indicator will be switched off as soon as the push button is pressed.
