TIGHTENING TORQUES

TIGHTENING TORQUES
Unless stated otherwise: all threads and contact surfaces of the nuts and bolts should
be sparingly lubricated with engine oil, before tightening.
Never use other lubricants.
Description
st
1 step : Tighten all nuts by hand , tighten nut B with 20 Nm and turn back 30 degr.

2 step : Tighten all nuts with a torque of 20 Nm

3 step : Tighten all nuts with 70 Nm

4 step : Tighten all nuts with 200 Nm
th
5 step : Tighten all nuts with 275 Nm
th
6 step : Indicate point zero degrees for the
angular rotation by means of
removeable mark, turn all nuts 60
degrees further.

7 step : Turn all nuts once more
60 degrees further.
The total angular rotation is 120 degrees.
Note:
Before tightening grease all nuts, studs and
connecting surfaces with engine lubricating oil.
Under no ccondition you should use molycote,
talcum fat or likewise.

-- Bush around fuel injector
-- Nut of injector clamp
-- Bolts for cylinder block--crankcase, see point 9
-- Nuts for tie rods , see point 9
-- Bolts for camshaft bearing caps
-- Studs for cylinder head
-- Divers connections on the fuel pump See figure below.
-- Union nut for injector nozzle 160 Nm
Attention !
Tighten the union nut 3x with160 Nm,
slacken the union nut in between.
