About the Base Module
A single base module is the smallest SL150 library configuration. The base module is a
3U rack mounted unit. It ships with:
Front control panel
Two 15-slot tape magazines (left and right)
Standard Mailslot with four tape slots (firmware version 2.25, and later, supports a
19 slot Expanded Mailslot configuration)
Robot
Power supply (with an option to add a second power supply)
Tape drive (with an option to add a second drive)
Accessory kit containing rail components, attachment hardware, and labels
The rear of the base module contains an Ethernet port for remote management and
nine USB Type A ports to connect to expansion modules.
