Active call soft key configuration

This feature allows you to configure soft keys that can be used during an active call to activate in-
call features with the help of DTMF. Using soft keys allows users to avoid remembering and
entering digital codes to activate in-call features.
You can configure this feature through the web Interface or in the 46xxsettings.txt file. You
can configure up to 10 soft keys for in-call features.
Note:
IP Office in CCMS mode does not support this feature.
Configuration of DTMF soft keys in the 46xxsettings.txt file
Each soft key has a set of attributes that can be configured for the SOFTKEY_ACTIVE parameter:
• type: key type, mandatory
• action: dialing sequence, mandatory
• label: soft key label, optional
Configuration of DTMF soft keys through Web Interface
You can configure active call soft keys in the Softkey Configuration > Active Call Softkey
Configuration tab of the web Interface. The following settings are available:
• Key: numeric, read-only

If ENABLE_BLIND_TRANSFER is set
to 1, the user can select between these
transfer types. If
ENABLE_BLIND_TRANSFER is set to
0, the user can make only an attended
transfer.
• 2: the active call is immediately
transferred to the destination. If this
value is used, it overrides the
ENABLE_BLIND_TRANSFER
parameter value.
• 3: the active call is put on hold, and the
call is established with the destination to
set up a conference.
• 4: the active or the held call is parked to
the destination by appending the Park
FAC with the destination extension
number.
