Setting Site Specific Option Number (SSON)

About this task
The Site Specific Option Number (SSON) is used by the phones to request information from a
DHCP server. This number must match a similar number option set on the DHCP server. The
number option set on the DHCP server defines the various settings required by the phone.
Procedure
1. Press Main Menu > Administration.
2. In the Access code field, enter the administation menu password.
3. Press Enter.
4. Select SSON.
5. In the SSON field, enter the new SSON.
The number must be between 128 to 254.
6. Press Save.
Caution:
Do not perform this procedure if you are using static addressing. Perform this
procedure if you are using DHCP addressing and the DHCP option number is changed
from the default number.

Procedure
1. Navigate to Main Menu > Admin.
2. In the Access code field, enter the Administration menu password, and press Enter.
3. Scroll to View, and press Select.
