Error message display and remedies

Full Waste Ink Tank

The waste ink tank is full. (Stops operation)
Immediately empty the tank.

Discharged

Ink is not filled.
Perform initial ink charging.

No Bag

Ink bag case is not inserted. (Stops operation)
Insert Ink bag case.
Ink End
Ink has run out. (Stops operation)
Replace with a new ink bag.
Ink End is detected when one of the following requirements is met and the printer will
stop printing.
◆ time elapsing from low-level sensor ON to high-level sensor ON exceeds 250
seconds.
◆ time elapsing from low-level sensor OFF to low-level sensor ON exceeds 100
seconds.
◆ when it takes more than 120 seconds for the low-level sensor to turn on after the
printer stops printing.
◆ when it takes more than 250 seconds for the high-level sensor to turn on while
filling ink to the sub tank during ink charging.
No S/C Card
Ink bag case is not inserted. (Stops operation)
Insert Ink bag case.

Get a replacement bag ready.
S/C Card End
Ink has run out. (Stops operation)
Replace with a new ink bag.
When the following conditions are satisfied, judge Smart Chip card near end or Smart
Chip card end and warn with panel display and sound.
◆ S/C card near end
・ Occurrence condition:
When the internal count value of ink usage (count on firmware) exceeds 900 ml
・ New printing:
Possible
・ Occurrence during printing:
Continue printing
◆ S/C card end
・ Occurrence condition:
When the internal count value of ink usage (count on firmware) exeeds 1200 ml
・ New printing:
Impossible
・ Occurrence during printing:
he printing is continued until the internal count value of ink usage after the Low-
level sensor is turned OFF reaches 20 ml.
Print stops if it exceeds 20 ml.
