Flow sensor calibration

The flow sensor calibraition should be performed:

STAND-BY operative mode.

Flow sensor correctly mounted (EXP
line) and connected to the anaesthesia
unit.

Patient circuit connected to the valves
group with Y connector plugged.

Exclusively by qualified and SIARE trained personnel.
When there are differences higher than 20% between set volume
(Vt) and measured value of expired tidal volume (Vte).
Before performing the calibration of flow sensor execute the leak
TEST (see cfr. 5 page 10).
If the leak TEST is overcome proceed with flow sensor calibration.
