4.11.3 Inspiration flow sensor calibration

The Inspiration flow sensor calibration is necessary in the following case
•
If you notice differences of more than a 15% (above 100ml.) between the volume set
(Vti) and the tidal volume read (Vti) on the measuring instrument.
•
Put the main switch of the ventilator (on the
back side of the ventilator) in position "I".
•
Check if the green led on the keyboard
(command area) is turned on (presence of
mains).
•
To access to the inspiration flow sensor
calibration press end keep pressed for some
seconds the membrane keys (in sequence)
ESC and ON-OFF .
•

To activate the characterization (calibration) program of the turbine it is necessary
the intervention of SIARE authorized personnel or technical qualified personnel,
authorized by SIARE.
For additional information on the procedure please refer to the SERVICE manual.
If the user or the authorized technician don't active or choice any CALIBRATION
PROGRAM, after some seconds, the system goes automatically in SELF TEST
phase.
