5.12.3 Respiratory Flow Sensors Calibration

The Respiratory Flow Sensors Calibration is necessary in the following cases.
When the User note differences are more than 15% (over 100ml) between the set Volume
value ( VTi - Vte ) and the expired Tidal Volume reading ( Vte ).
In case of first calibration of ventilation module or replacement of flow sensors (INSP inside the
unit or EXP outside the unit), it is suggested to perform this calibration.
In order to start the Flow Sensors Calibration is necessary the intervention of
qualified SIARE personnel or qualified technical personnel authorized by SIARE. For
more information on the procedure please refer to the SERVICE manual.
