Trigger-In & Trigger Out
8.5.5
DC Asterion power supply has Trigger-In and Trigger-Out functionality.
Trigger-In: Applying a high voltage signal on pin 8 and return pin 12 will
trigger the ramp.

Low state 0.3 V max, High State 2.7 V min
Trigger-Out: Active low signal will be generated on the pin 24 and return pin 36
when a change in the output occurs.
REMOTE OUTPUT ON/OFF CONTROL
8.6
Remote output on/off control may be accomplished by contact closure, or through an
opto-isolated interface with external voltage sources, AC/DC or TTL/CMOS.
Remote Output ON/OFF by Contact Closure
8.6.1
Application of a contact closure between Pins 13 and Pin 14 will enable the output (if
Output Enable from front panel or SCPI is ON). See Figure 8-14 for connection
requirements.

// clear the unit to its power-on default settings.
// reset the unit.
// Set the voltage to 20V
// Set the current to 20A
// Turn on the output
//
Give an external trigger i.e. an active high
pulse of 10ms on the pin-8 (TRIGGER_IN) and pin-
12 (DIN_RTN) to generate the Voltage Ramp. This
will ramp the voltage from 20V to 25V in 5 secs
