Description
Selects how the drive reacts upon a fieldbus communication
break. A time delay for the action can be defined by parameter
50.33 FBA B comm loss
timeout.
See also parameter
50.56 FBA B comm supervision
No action taken.
Drive trips on
7520 FBA B
control is expected from the FBA B interface (FBA B selected
as source of start/stop/reference in the currently active control
location), or if supervision is forced using parameter
FBA B comm supervision
Drive generates an
A7C2 FBA B communication
freezes the speed to the level the drive was operating at. This
only occurs if control is expected from the FBA B interface, or
if supervision is forced using parameter
supervision
force.
The speed is determined on the basis of actual speed using
850 ms low-pass filtering.
WARNING! Make sure that it is safe to continue
operation in case of a communication break.
Drive generates an
A7C2 FBA B communication
sets the speed to the value defined by parameter
ref safe
(when speed reference is being used) or
Frequency ref safe
(when frequency reference is being used).
This only occurs if control is expected from the FBA B
interface, or if supervision is forced using parameter
FBA B comm supervision
WARNING! Make sure that it is safe to continue
operation in case of a communication break.
Drive trips on
7520 FBA B
though no control is expected from the FBA B interface.

Defines the time delay before the action defined by parameter
50.32 FBA B comm loss func
the communication link fails to update the message.
As a rule of thumb, this parameter should be set to at least 3
times the transmit interval of the master.
Note: There is a 60-second boot-up delay immediately after
power-up. During the delay, the communication break
monitoring is disabled (but communication itself can be
active).
