Mounting the MRT in an equipment rack
Mounting the Stinger MRT units in a 23-inch rack
To rack-mount a Stinger MRT 23 or Stinger MRT 19 horizontally into a standard
23-inch (58.42cm) equipment rack:

Align the screw holes on the mounting bracket with the screw holes on the
equipment rack, as shown in Figure 3-11.

Using a number 2 Phillips screwdriver, install cross-head screws of the
appropriate size through the lower mounting holes of each bracket and into the
equipment rack.

Install and tighten the upper mounting screws.

Tighten the lower mounting screws.
Mounting the Stinger MRT 19 in smaller equipment racks
The Stinger MRT 19 can be mounted horizontally in a 19-inch wide-rack, using the
ETSI mounting brackets, or in a 17.72-inch wide-rack, using the EIA mounting
brackets. Use the supplied screws to attach the brackets to the Stinger MRT 19
chassis.
The procedure for mounting a Stinger MRT 19 in either of these smaller racks is
similar to the procedure for mounting the unit in the larger 23-inch rack. To
rack-mount a Stinger MRT 19 horizontally into a standard 19-inch or 17.72-inch
equipment rack:

Align the screw holes on the mounting bracket with the screw holes on the
equipment rack, as shown in Figure 3-12.
