Operation without splitters
A Stinger MRT not equipped with integrated splitters operates as an ATM
switch-through digital subscriber line access multiplexer (DSLAM). It switches data
from multiple subscribers on dedicated ADSL or SHDSL lines onto a high-speed ATM
backbone. Figure 5-1 shows this type of operation.
