Remove the bracket from the mounting rail, and install it in the next procedure,
using the mounting holes on Stinger chassis that have been identified.
Caution
!
unit, install the chassis so that it is between the mounting rails, and balanced on the
brackets as much as possible. Extreme extension of the chassis from the mounting
rails can create a collision hazard for individuals, and can overstress the mounting
brackets.
Installing the mounting brackets
The Standard brackets and the multi-position brackets are attached to the chassis in
the same way.
To install the mounting brackets onto the unit:

Position a mounting bracket onto one side of the Stinger unit, lining up the screw
holes on the bracket with one set of bracket holes on the side of the unit. The
desired bracket holes near the front of the unit or near the midpoint of the unit
can be used, as shown in Figure 3-4.

Using a number 2 Phillips screwdriver, install the 1/4-inch flathead screws that
are supplied with the brackets through the mounting bracket holes and into the
unit at either the midpoint or front mounting position, as shown in Figure 3-4.
