(3) Removing the Motor Driver

Remove the cover L unit from the DC-545.

Remove the connector for the motor driver.
(2 positions)

Take out the 4 screws, and remove the motor driver.
(4) Removing the PPS2 Phototransistor
and PPS3 Photodiode

Remove the cover L unit from the DC-545.

Remove the connector. (1 position)
e
Cut the tie wrap. (1 position)

Take out the screw, and remove the code band.
(3 positions)

Take out the 2 screws, and remove the bracket.

Take out the 2 screws, and remove the
phototransistor PPS2.

Take out the 2 screws, and remove the bracket
(PPS3).

Take out the 2 screws, and remove the
phototransistor PPS3.
Ref. Photodiode: Brown, blue
