configure interface ethernet
This command accesses next-level commands for configuring an Ethernet port. Each router
has two Ethernet ports (0 and 1).
To view the current configuration of an Ethernet port, use the show interface ethernet
command. To view a summary of information for both ports, use the show interface ethernets
command.

interface ethernet ethernet <slot/port>

SR/configure> interface ethernet 1/0

This command provides a brief description for an Ethernet port.
The descriptive string, enclosed in quotation marks, can have up to 15 characters.
