Customizing the opening banner You can customize the banner that appears when you connect to the switch. You can customize the text that reads AVAYA. However you cannot customize the second line that reads Enter [Ctrl] +y to begin. The Banner Control feature provides an option to specify the banner text. If you choose not to display the banner, the system enters the ACLI command mode through the default command interface.
