policy connection-rate

Maximum number of connections for a given policy in a particular time. Use the no form of this
command to disable this feature for this policy (disabled by default). The seconds parameter
defaults to 1 second if not specified.
syntax:
[no] connection-rate <number-connections> [seconds]

To limit the maximum number of connections to 2000 for 2 seconds, enter:
SR/configure/firewall corp/policy 4 out > connection-rate 2000 2
To disable the connection-rate feature for this policy, enter:
SR/configure/firewall corp/policy 4 out > no connection-rate 2000 2

Specifies the maximum number of packets for a given policy per second. Use the no form of
this command to disable the policing feature for this policy (disabled by default).
syntax:
[no] policing <packets-per-second>

Specifies the number of connections. Valid range is 1-29912.
Specifies the time in seconds. Valid range is 1-36000. Default
is 1 second.
