Use this RAP when directed to troubleshoot problems with the Registration Sensor.
Initial Actions
Remove the following:

Front Cover

Ensure the document path is clear. Look for pieces of paper that could be blocking the Regis-
tration Sensor.
Procedure
The Fault Code is 5-902.

[005-110]. Block and unblock the Registration Sensor The display
changes state.

+5 VDC is measured between P/J599-2 (+) and GND.
Y

Replace the DADF Control PWB
Block the sensor. The voltage at P/J599-2 goes to less than +1.0 VDC.

1. Check the wire for an open circuit. If the wire is good, replace the
Registration Sensor

Replace the DADF Control PWB
Ensure that the steps listed in the Initial Actions of this RAP have been completed. If so,
and the problem continues, replace the DADF PWB
Perform the following:
