4.2.1 System Information

Use the System Information screen to display descriptive information about the Industrial Managed Switch, or for quick system
identification. You can identify the system by displaying the device name, location and contact information easily. The System
Information screen in Figure 4-2-1
The page includes the following fields:

• Contact -
• System Up time -
This page also includes a Telnet button that allows to access the Command Line Interface via Telnet.

Description
Enter the name you want to use to identify this switch.
You may use up to 31 alpha-numeric characters.
The factory default is blank.
The base object ID for the Industrial Managed Switch's enterprise MIB.
Enter the location of this Industrial Managed Switch.
You may use up to 31 alpha-numeric characters. The factory default is blank.
Enter the contact person for this switch.
You may use up to 31 alpha-numeric characters.
The factory default is blank.
The time in days, hours and minutes since the last switch reboot.
