5.15 Interface Commands
These commands are used to display or set communication parameters for an Ethernet port, aggregated link, or VLAN.

This command configures an interface type and enters interface configuration mode. Use the no form to remove a trunk.
Syntax

-unit - Stack unit. (Range: 1)
-port - Port number. (Range: 1-28)
port-channel channel-id (Range: 1-12)
Function
Configures an interface type and enters interface configuration
mode
Adds a description to an interface configuration
Configures the speed and duplex operation of a given interface
when autonegotiation is disabled
Enables autonegotiation of a given interface
Advertises the capabilities of a given interface for use in
autonegotiation
Enables flow control on a given interface
Disables an interface
Configures the broadcast storm control threshold
Enables broadcast storm control on an interface
Clears statistics on an interface
Displays status for the specified interface
Displays statistics for the specified interfaces
Displays the administrative and operational status of aninterface
