·In the case of repetitive actions to issue the RUN command and frequency reference to
the Inverter and read the status of the Inverter, for example, the actions to give the RUN
command and frequency reference is one step. The reason is that these register num-
bers are consecutive and can be sent with a single DSR message. The action to read
the status of the Inverter is another step.
·A step includes a command and a maximum of two messages.
The above example uses the Send & Recv command. The DSR message and
response are both messages.
·A step may include the following parameters.

The Send, Send & Recv, Wait, Flush, Open (ER-ON),
or Close (ER-OFF) command is set.

shown with the Send & Recv command used.
The Send command is used for a broadcast mes-
sage.
A DSR message is set for the Send command used.
A response is set for the Recv command.
A DSR message and response are set for the Send &
Recv command.
If there are two or more responses for the Send or
Send & Recv command, the next process is selected
per response.
The number (N) of times to repeat the step is set
within a range from 0 to 255.
It is possible to change messages by making use of
the number (N).
Note In 7-9-4 Creating a Project File, an example is
shown with this function used for enabling three
Slaves to repeat the same process.
The number of times to retry the command can be set
within a range from 0 to 9 only when the Send & Recv
command is used.
Note It is recommended that the number be set to 3 or
larger.
The waiting time until data is sent with the Send or
Send & Recv command executed.
Determines whether or not to write the reception data
in the response.
Note In 7-9-4 Creating a Project File, an example is
shown with this function used for writing the
Inverter status to the memory.
