10.10.9.6 Removing the Pick-
up System Sensor Mounting
Plate
1) Remove the 2 screws [1] at the rear, and remove the
bracket [2].

2) Disconnect the connector [1], and remove the screw
[1]; then, detach the cassette pickup solenoid [3].
Thereafter,remove the 5 screws [4], and detach the
sensor mounting plate [5].

(A/B)
1) Disconnect the connector [1], and remove the
cassette paper sensor (A/B) [2].

Points to Note When Mounting the Sensor
Mounting Plate
Any of the gears can drop off. When attaching the
sensor mounting plate, be sure that the pickup unit
will not face downward.
